A traveller of Sham * , traveled to Medina*. There he saw a man sitting near a tree .That man was good-looking and dressed in fine clothes .His shirt smelled nice perfume .

His face was wide and bright with big eyes .

The man of Sham asked some one ," Who"s this man ?"

He was replied , " He"s Hasan- ebn- Ali –ebn- Abitaleb (peace be upon them )."

Suddenly ,the eyes of the man began to glow .

 _ That time , Mo"aviyeh * son of Abosofyan * was the governor of muslems and the center of his government was Sham ._

Mo"aviyeh has made large propaganda fr blackening Ali (p.b.u.h.) and his sons (p.b.u.th).

The man of Sham  has been deceived by the claims of Mo"aviyeh ,went closer and abused Hasan (p.b.u.h.) .

Imam Hasan (p.b.u.h.) without angriness or sadness looked at him kindly .Then , after reading some verses of the Holy Quran about forgiveness and kindness , Imam (p.b.u.h.) said to him ,"We are ready for any kind of help and services to you ."

The man of Sham was silent . Imam (p.b.u.h.) asked him ,"Are you from Sham?"

_ "Yes , …I come from Sham ."

Imam (p.b.u.h.) said , " I knew the reason of your angriness ….but you are strange in this city .If you need something ,I"m ready to help you . I"m ready to receive you in my house –as my guest –I"m ready to dress you new clothes ."

The man of Sham who didn"t suppose to face such a kindness ,became ashamed because of Imam"s great tolerance.

That time he said, " I wish I  had died and  buried in the ground. I wish I"d said nothing …I wish I had"nt been so rude .I wish I"d not spoken without  knowledge."

*Sham: the last name of Syria which was the center of Mo"aviyeh government

*Medina :a big city in Saudi Arabia  which the holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) and some Imams (p.b.u.th.) lived in

*Mo"aviyeh: the son of Abosofyan and the governor of Sham

*Abosofyan : The big enemy of Islam who accepted Islam after the holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) captured Mecca
